Last February 6th, the Comptroller General of Costa Rica, approved the contract for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the Hydroelectric Project "El Encanto". This contract was executed by the Italian company Ghella S.p.A., represented by FSV, and the Costa Rican National Light Energy Company.

The new hydroelectric plant will be located in Montes de Oro, Puntarenas in Costa Rica and will use the river waters from Aranjuez River, generating 8,4 megawatts. The total project is valued in USD $27,2 millions.
